Starting a Blog With Zero Authority and Publishing Every Number
Starting a marketing blog in 2026 feels like showing up to a potluck. All 400 guests brought the same ChatGPT pasta salad.
Everyone can generate content now, so everyone does.
And Google’s response to the flood has been blunt. If anyone could have written it, it doesn’t deserve to rank.
What ranks now is proof, and proof means receipts.
Which is convenient, because receipts are the only advantage I’ve got.
This domain has zero authority, zero backlinks, and zero organic traffic. If you’re reading this in July 2026, you’re one of maybe four people here.
Two of you are my mom.
But I run an agency on an AI system I built myself. It researches, writes, publishes, and tracks marketing operations that would otherwise need a much bigger team.
That system built a client’s SEO engine that runs mostly on its own. It found the keywords, wrote the posts, and fixed the metadata.
Now it tracks every ranking weekly. I do the quality checks and the strategy. The system does the rest.
Now I’m pointing it at my own site.
Did I hire developers for this? Fuck no. The same system built the blog this afternoon. Hosting costs zero, and the CMS is a folder of text files.
This post is sitting inside the first thing it built. Which means you’re looking at the receipt right now.
So this blog is a build log.
Every system I build gets documented here, for my agency and for clients.
Lead machines, email engines, content pipelines, and tools all go on record. Every post carries real numbers, including the embarrassing ones.
And the first experiment is the blog itself.
Can a brand-new domain with no name behind it rank inside the pasta salad flood?
I don’t know. That’s what makes it an experiment.
But you’ll see every step: the traffic, the rankings, and the Google Search Console screenshots. All of it starts from an empty graph.
If it works, you’ll know exactly how.
And if it flops, you’ll see that too. Which is more than the pasta salad people will ever show you.
